Why can you not share a link direct from an ICPL Album? To me, it's illogical.
This is the bit I really don't get, so please correct me! I believe I have to use iCloud Photo Sharing to create a Sharing Album called 'Son's 2nd Birthday' and add images to it from my 'Son's 2nd Birthday' ICPL Album.

Hi, my choice of online Photo Storage, Adobe Revel, closed this year and I'm looking at either looking at transferring to Adobe CC Photography Plan (Lightroom), which is really expensive or Apple Photos, which is really cheap.
